NAMD Chicago Chapter President
Thank you for your interest in NAMD. As you browse through our website and read about our organization, you come to learn of our rich history of contribution to the understanding of the value of marketing to African American consumers, plus the growth and development of African American business connected with the marketing industry.
It is building upon our history that invigorates our efforts. No other people know over coming challenges as we. No other people consistently and persistently create opportunity in spite of obstacles. We are a people of hope. We are a people of creativity.
This is a major year for Chicago NAMD, with big, audacious goals that we’re already seeing become a reality. We are committed to doubling our local membership and proactively finding business opportunities for members. Working with the Chicago Urban League, we are identifying African American marketing professionals and presenting them directly to corporations looking for talented people of color. And we are identifying Black businesses to work with and develop through The Urban Leagues Entrepreneurship Center programs.
But that is just the beginning. We are reaching out to professional organizations to share our knowledge and gain from their knowledge creating a powerful repository of best practices and a series of events designed to share that knowledge to promote collaboration and cooperation that leads to measurable and significant profitability.
I encourage you participate in our upcoming events. These are not just social gatherings, these are business building, career advancing, wealth generating activities designed to give you a profitable ROI – Return on Involvement!
Join us. Profit with us. Grow with us.
Sincerely,
Donna Smith Bellinger
